The Proceedings of the CIE (International Commission on Illumination) have been registered as an international series with the ISSN no. 3061-015X (print), 3061-0168 (online). Starting with CIE 2025, all scientific volumes of the Proceedings of the CIE will be submitted to Scopus for potential indexing in their scientific databases.
All accepted contributions are eligible to be included in the CIE 2025 Proceedings. For those submitting Full-length Papers, it will be included as the citable version, with a paper-level DOI assigned. The CIE 2025 Proceedings will be available for sale through the CIE webshop. Open access options are available as well for the Full-length papers.
Authors will need to confirm copyright and licensing agreements during the submission process for CIE 2025.
Following CIE 2025, two special issues in scientific journals are planned: one in Lighting Research & Technology (LR&T) and one in Color Research & Application (CR&A). These issues will highlight the best contributions from the conference. Selected authors will be contacted by the ISPC after the conference.
