As part of the CIE 2025 Scientific Conference, a series of carefully crafted workshops will offer attendees the opportunity to explore diverse range of important topics from across CIE Divisions, with several workshops crossing disciplinary boundaries. Designed to inspire thought, ignite meaningful discussions, and foster engagement, these interactive sessions focus on future-oriented topics aligned with CIE’s mission.
We encourage all participants to actively contribute to shaping the dialogue and advancing the field through these collaborative workshops.
The following six workshops will be held:

- Tailoring Indoor Lighting Requirements to Meet Users’ Needs – Convener: Anna Pellegrino
- Rapid Revision of CIE 115 Lighting of Roads for Motor and Pedestrian Traffic – Convener: Steve Fotios
- Electric Light Effect on Insects – Convener: David Sliney
- Academic & Professional Lighting Education – Convener: Luoxi Hao
