As part of the CIE 2025 Scientific Conference, we are pleased to invite all registered student participants to a special Networking Event for Students and CIE Leadership on 7 July 2025, from 19:00 to 21:00 at Dschungel Café Fürstenhof, MuseumsQuartier, Vienna.
This event is included in the scientific conference registration and offers a relaxed, informal setting to meet fellow students, experienced CIE members, and international experts.
This informal evening is designed to foster connections between early-career researchers and established experts — including Technical Committee Chairs, Division Management, the Technical Management Board, and Governing Board members. Many of these individuals are recognized experts in their fields and are deeply involved in shaping the future of lighting science and standards within the CIE.
Prof. Luoxi Hao, CIE Vice President for Education, will open the evening with a few words and reflections from her own journey.
Food and drinks will be provided, and the atmosphere promises to be both relaxed and inspiring — right in the heart of one of Vienna’s most vibrant cultural venues.If you’re joining the sightseeing tour, good news: the networking event venue is also the tour’s meeting point.
